Cedar Point II Wind Energy Centre

The Cedar Point II project, located approximately 40 km north-east of Sarnia, Ontario, is a 100-megawatt wind project capable of generating enough power for approximately 30,000 homes in an average year. A subsidiary of NextEra Energy Canada operates the plant and owns 50 megawatts of the facility. The power from the project is being sold to Ontario Independent Electricity System Operator under the Feed-In-Tariff program. The project commenced operations in October 2015.
